What is Connective Tissue Therapy?
Connective tissue (technically described as fascia) supports, connects and separates the organs and tissue in our bodies to give us structure and fluid mobility.
Connective tissue provides us with our elasticity, but it can also be a primary cause of physical pain when under tension, through injury, strain, over or under-use or just wear and tear through age.
Connective tissue therapy brings together a range of therapeutic skills, including deep tissue acupressure (sports and remedial) massage, structural integration (ATSI), Scarwork, neuro-muscular stretching and body reading; each designed to address specific connective tissue problems.
